I’ve always been drawn to stories.

I’m the kind of person who gets lost in a good book, loves a quotable movie, or a show that makes the characters feel like close friends. Stories slow me down. They make me pay attention. Especially when they’re paired with beautiful visuals.

I grew up in Sturgis, Michigan.
In high school, I spent a lot of time in art classes, drawing, art history, jewelry, photography. Back then, I didn’t think of it as anything more than something I enjoyed. Looking back, I think art taught me how to slow down… notice things.

I decided to change part of my own story and became a real estate agent. Part of that meant learning how to market myself. How to communicate who I am and what I care about. So I started making short videos for social media. Nothing fancy. Just having fun.

People around me noticed. They encouraged me.

J Rose Productions came out of that. Not from a big plan, just from doing something I already loved, and letting it grow naturally.
